Yas Island

Yas Island is a tourist center and the main entertainment hub of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, which offers many leisure options, luxury hotels, first—class shopping destinations, as well as premium residential real estate. The community is an artificial island with an area of 2,500 hectares situated in the east of Abu Dhabi, created by separating part of the mainland using a sea channel. The development of Yas Island began in 2006 and the general developer of the project is Aldar Properties. In 2011, Miral joined the overall project.
